Náklady a výnosy cukrovej repy v poľnohospodárskom podniku Tapos, s.r.o., po reforme SOT = Costs and Yields of Sugar Beet in the Agricultural Company Tapos Ltd. after the CMO Reform

The article deals with the evaluation of production, quality, costs and yield of sugar beet growing in the conditions of production after the Common Market Organisation (CMO) reform. The assumed threeyear results within the synthetic economic indicators in agricultural enterprise Tapos are confronted with the three-year results of costs and yield of agricultural
products (sugar beet in SR in sorting according to production areas) published by Research Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics (VÚEPP). In the evaluated group of agricultural subjects, sugar beet is a profitable crop-plant considering grants; ithout the grants, the production of sugar beet is on the margin of profitability, even loss. (Tapos 53.1 % in year 2007, selected group VÚEPP 8.52 % in year 2009). Intensification of sugar beet production which is operated effectively is necessary mostly in the productive areas of SR. Within the production experience of growing sugar beet, there is continuously a very high disparity in the results of farming of agricultural enterprises in production and economic indicators. The effectiveness of sugar beet growing can be increased by increasing production intensity along with cost savings which will lead to decrease of the unit costs.
