The FIrst Military Survey offers an extraordinary insight into a landscape at the time just after the mid-18th century. This study has two basic objectives: 1) generally to point out the spectrum of possibilities, but also limitations of the testimony of the First Military Survey (map as well as written descriptions), and 2) use the example of Třeboň Region to demonstrate this spectrum, with its uniquely preserved agricultural cultural landscape, to which the results of the survey had not yet been more widely applied. … celý popis
